  • RAM: Minimum 128 MB , 256 MB Recommended
  • Hard Disk: Minimum 2 GB ( Installation needs 300MB )

• Install Instructions
  • Download and Extract the archive.
  • Run 'run.bat' or 'run.sh' from command prompt and follow instructions.
  • Open the General Options Dialog and change the Look and Feel to Metal
  • Change the user interface language to 'Tamil (India)'.

• Install Instructions
  • Step01. Install JRE 1.5 if not from http://java.sun.com
  • Step02. Download "ColumbaLinux.tar.gz" and save in a directory 
    on your machine.
  • Step03. Go to the directory in which you have saved tar.gz file.
  • Step04. Uncompress the tar ball
    $tar -zxvf ColumbaLinux.tar.gz
    On uncompress you will get "columba-unix-1.0_RC2-bin"
  • Step05. Make "columba-unix-1.0_RC2-bin" as working directory.
    $cd ./columba-unix-1.0_RC2-bin
  • Step06. Run Columba and change the user
    interface language to "Tamil (India)".
    $ ./run.sh
